How HoodPacks works: the loop, the token, the odds, and the set.

01 — Overview

HoodPacks is a closed-loop card pack economy on Robinhood Chain. Collectors spend $HPACK to open packs, pull cards across five rarities, and trade what they pull for $HPACK, USDC, or directly with other collectors.

There is no lottery and no draw. A pack is a purchase with a known card count and published odds, settled on-chain the moment you open it. Cards mint straight to your wallet. Nothing is held in custody, and nothing needs our permission to move.

02 — The Hood Loop

$HPACK enters through pack opens, cards mint to the collector, and value returns through the trade market. A share of every trade fee burns, which keeps the loop deflationary instead of extractive.

  1. Open — Pay the pack price in $HPACK. The open is one transaction; the pull resolves in the same block.
  2. Collect — Cards land in your vault as transferable tokens. Common through Legendary, every pull is yours to hold.
  3. Trade — Sell into $HPACK, USDC, or swap direct with another collector. 2.5% fee, partially burned.

03 — Token: $HPACK

$HPACK is the only currency in the economy. Every pack opened burns a share of the spend, so circulating supply contracts as the collector base grows. There is no emission schedule and no staking sink propping up the price.

04 — Pack Tiers

Five packs ship in three tiers. Higher tiers carry more cards per open and shorter odds to the top of the curve, against a smaller print run.

05 — Rarity & Odds

Five rarities across the set. Odds below are per card slot, not per pack, and are published in the contract before a set goes live.

06 — Provably Fair Pulls

Every open resolves against an on-chain randomness source. The odds table is written into the pack contract at deploy and cannot be edited afterward, so a pull you dispute can be replayed from public data.

  • Odds are immutable per set. Changing them requires deploying a new set.
  • Every open emits an event with the pack id, the seed, and the resulting card ids.
  • No pre-reveal. Nobody, including the team, knows the contents of a pack before it is opened.

07 — Trade Market

Cards are transferable from the moment they mint. The in-app market is a convenience, not a gate: any wallet can move a card anywhere without touching HoodPacks.

09 — Roadmap

Phase 1 — Token launch, pack system live, Set 1 across five pack tiers
Phase 2 — Trade market, leaderboard ranks, seasonal print runs
Phase 3 — Set 2, limited drops, collector guilds, cross-chain vaults

10 — Risks

HoodPacks is a collectible product, not an investment. Card values are set by whoever is willing to buy them, and that can be nobody. $HPACK can go to zero. Smart contracts can hold bugs regardless of review. Only spend what you are willing to lose entirely.
